Ok first off lets understand that simply formatting your hard drive doesnt do shit. What do you mean it deletes it? No it doenst, it just gets rid of the indexing of the data the actuall data is still present on the drive. Heres inof on what happens inside your hardrive weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

You create a file thats located on C:/Documents and Settings/All Users/shared/pron.gif

So you press delete they look at the gui for the os(yoru usign windows in this example..)nd they dotn se the pron but they want to check further


the way itworks is realy when you click on the program itself its really just giving you directions to the data its like a shortcut. Click icon A and you get the data for icon A retrieved. ok when you delete the program for A including all the icons and application files(the stuff that makes it run) your not really deletting anythign all that happens is that the computer "forgets" its there
